The provider and the current website
Provider details appear on this page and on the contact page. This website introduces the clinic, examinations and prices. Sending an enquiry, requesting an opening notification or speaking to Mia does not book an appointment.
These pages explain the planned process for future services. Verified contractual, legal and clinical information will be added before payments are accepted, and the effective date of the terms will be announced separately.
Choosing an examination and confirming a time
After booking opens, the patient sends a request. The clinic confirms the selected examination, its scope, appointment time, address and final price by email. Services for one or both sides of the body and different examination scopes may differ.
After receiving the clinic’s confirmation, the patient accepts the terms and pays. The online order is confirmed only after acceptance of the terms and successful payment. An email offering an appointment time does not yet mean that the online order is finally confirmed.
This describes confirmation of a paid online order, not every way in which a healthcare contract may be formed. Under VÕS § 759, a contract may arise, among other cases, when provision starts or the obligation to provide care is undertaken with the patient’s consent. Payment does not replace medical consent.
The payment link is valid for 24 hours from the clinic’s confirmation email being sent. If the appointment is sooner, the email clearly states a shorter payment deadline before payment, ending before the examination starts.
If successful payment is not received by the stated deadline, the reserved time is released without a penalty. Do not pay for an unconfirmed enquiry, a waiting-list place or a service that is not yet available.
Price and service contents
Examination descriptions and current prices are on the examinations and price-list pages. Before payment, the total price in euros must be visible, including applicable taxes and mandatory additional charges. No extra service will be added without the patient’s prior agreement.
During the first phase of online payments, only individual examinations can be paid for online. Packages remain in the catalogue at their existing prices and are arranged by contacting the clinic. Online payment for packages will not open until the price allocation for each part and the calculation of partial refunds have been separately approved.
Package contents, the schedule of its parts and conditions of use will be confirmed before a package is sold. A service outside the clinic will become available only after separate approval; any travel charge and the total price must be agreed before payment.
Tervisekassa funding
Funding for an individual examination requires a doctor’s referral, valid health insurance and compliance with the funding conditions. A referral alone does not confirm funding for a particular appointment. Before payment, check with the clinic whether your appointment is privately paid or funded by Tervisekassa.
A privately paid advance will not be required for the same funded service. Funding for packages and services outside the clinic must be clarified separately; it cannot be inferred automatically from funding for an individual examination.
Future online payment process
The approved business rule for the future launch is full, 100% advance payment for a privately paid service only after a specific appointment time is confirmed. Online payments are not currently accepted. The actual payment partner and available payment methods will be published after contractual and technical confirmation.
Returning from a payment page to this website does not itself confirm successful payment. If the payment result is unclear, do not pay again immediately: contact the clinic. Do not email card details or a bank authorisation code.
The examination, preparation and result
The service will take place at the confirmed time and agreed location. A 20-minute appointment is allocated for an individual examination, including preparation of the report.
The clinic prepares the report during this appointment, within 10 minutes after the examination ends. The report is available through Estonia’s Health Portal, Terviseportaal. Technical processing may delay its appearance in the portal: the 10-minute period refers to preparation at the clinic, not to publication in the portal.
Follow the preparation instructions for your examination. Contact the clinic before your visit if the instructions are unclear or there are barriers to carrying out the examination. Do not change prescribed treatment on your own.
Rights, consent and changes to the terms
Accepting service and payment terms does not replace patient information or the consent required for a medical service. Medical consent, cookie choices and optional marketing consent are separate actions. Using analytics or Mia is not a condition of receiving a service.
The ordinary 14-day distance-contract withdrawal right does not apply to a healthcare contract (VÕS § 53(2)(2)). However, the patient may terminate the healthcare contract at any time without giving a reason (VÕS § 772(2)). Cancellation, consent and refunds are explained on a separate page.
These terms do not limit statutory patient rights or exclude the clinic’s statutory liability. Terms departing from mandatory healthcare-contract provisions to the patient’s detriment are void (VÕS § 773). New prices or later changes to the terms do not automatically change an already confirmed order.
Data and contacting the clinic
Contact the clinic with payment or appointment administration questions. Initially provide the order reference, if available, and a brief description of the issue. Do not send diagnoses, examination results, personal identification codes or document copies by ordinary email. A secure way to exchange information will be agreed if needed.
The current privacy page describes existing website functions. Before booking and payments launch, the data-processing terms for the actual implementation, the payment partner’s role and the necessary insurance and complaints-handling information will be published.
